She has a way of speaking with her eyes Such a way so she can read my mind Oh those amber eyes leave me alone tonight Because she has a guy, one I can see through The ins and outs and all that he’s been through Now too bad he’s all that she’s looking for Oh here we go again Yeah, we’re lost in our heads and I’m just waiting for this catastrophe to fall asleep without me You seem to be replacing your skin with your plans I’ll work the curves of your body and watch the veins in your hands So take a deep breath before I dive in Are you ready? Just say “when” Your mind is racing with ideas of prosperous sin You’re in the game to win and you’ll do whatever you can So I cut all ties, and change with the seasons Nights like these are filled with jealousy that’s when fights break out and hearts break to to the sound of broken glass, there’s broken glass on the floor again

Jack Links 03:04
The sun rose up above the alleyway We skipped school and made a quick getaway Who would’ve ever though we’d have to plan for a life outside these walls My Monday mornings fell by the way side While Friday nights I’d always feel so alive It’s really gonna suck when we all have to say goodbye So please stay the night Here’s to the fights and all the friends that I’ve left behind We’ll live fast with a vision of love and die young To save ourselves from misery I fell in love over stupid conversations where I would always try to make her smile But ever since we stopped talking I haven’t done that for a while Because, she drove to the outskirts of town With the hopes that she would drown In the silence of no one knowing her name So who’s to blame?

And as the days go by words fall from our mouthes words we can’t hide, so we write them down engraved into our skin they’ll stick with us until the day we die So when the lights go out will you still be there or will you have skipped town? To leave me thinking of all those nights and stupid fights where you said you cared but you lied Now I’m leaving this town I’m packing up so say goodbye for now Cause I know, I’ll see you in my dreams The spark is dead you were the death of me And as the days go by you keep telling people all your lies Painting them a picture till its black and white I’m no where in sight, you’ve pinned everything on me [it wasn't me] So I’ll follow my dreams before they are caught In a web and I’m stuck where you are 'Cause a life with no regret is a life worth fighting for Tell me; where do you stand tonight?

We grew up on the outskirts of town Every single day was another spent by ourselves But we learned to cope with that Back seat memories the light night liquor daze where even I couldn’t speak But those days have passed us by We’ll get by with what we’ve got We’ll make the best of this Drinking games, with our friends. Lining up the - shots - and, 'party' till "3AM" ... Just to keep the 'memories' alive So we’ll fuel the fire with YOUR words; Doused in alcohol - so they dig deep down - and burn your self-esteem; and innocence to the ground. "I burned the evidence - everything we’ve ever done is up in smoke... But you should know; I only took a bullet so we can move on"

Cigarettes 04:14
I was waiting outside your house ... it was "2AM". Hoping you'd see the problem ... hoping you'd see yourself. I swear I've tried to fix this up right! I'm not the same guy that you gave up on last night. The words you burn like cigarettes leave me high and dry, and alone inside. And when the sun goes down, and you leave this town. Never to be seen again. My eyes are dry from lack of sleep; they're brittle and I can barely speak. A word for the wise; maybe next time... I won't drink so much.

Ego 03:34
Here’s to the nights, the times we felt alive! With memories forever hatched in time... With scrapes and bruises we made our marks; trying to find our way home. So tell me, what’s bothering you? As I trace the outline of your room... So crawl through your window and say goodbye! 'Cause we’re black and bleeding through these pages of our lives. And I left my youth in California and took an oath to never 'change' So we'll break out of this scene, and keep our heads up high. 'Cause we don't need to feel bad tonight. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - We’ve all made mistakes, but that’s what life is for, so please don’t ever forget what happened last summer.
